The institute was born in Arzano, a city in the north outskirts of Naples, in the school year 2000/2001 as a branch of the local highschool but it became independent as a professional and a technical high school in 2004 with 48 classes.

It is a public and it offers the following courses of studies. COMMERCE, TOURISM, INFORMATION TECNOLOGY, GRAPHICS AND COMUNICATIONS, SOCIAL AND HEALTH SERVICES, FASHION INDUSTRTY, CRAFTS AND INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS. The classrooms are spacious and bright, equipped with interactive whiteboards; there are six classes 2.0 and four classes 3.0, this is an experimentation started three years ago and it seems to be pleasing to the students. Arzano is an industrial center and offers many opportunities for alternating school work. The school is committed to school dispersal and creates training opportunities.

Our school is a professional technical higher education institute, we operate in a disadvantaged territory that present socio, economic, family and security disadvantages. The school for these children represents a meeting point, the vital center of their experiences, of meeting, of exchange, of training, sometimes playful. We always try to insert the less able pupils as for them it represents the only possibility of change. Our students are between 14 to 18 years old. In this project we are going to work with 14-18 years old students. There are various kinds of courses in our school.
