One of our main goals is to develop an international partnership with similar organizations, an active exchange of ideas and best practices, creating a vibrant network of European partners.
We are a young organization established in September 2022, but because of the experience of our members, we are very well competent to lead its initiatives. Really Cool Adventure Directors are actively involved in projects and participate in various Erasmus plus projects as the members of Healthy Generations Youth Group and previously Euromed Ave Ireland Limited.
Really Cool Adventure is a safe space where young people from Balbriggan and surrounding areas can come and spent their free time after school doing meaningful activities. Balbriggan is a fast-growing town with the youngest population of people in Ireland however, accompanying this, there are high unemployment rates, plenty of social issues and antisocial behaviour among the youth. Unfortunately, in Balbriggan there is the lack of constructive and profitable activities and opportunities that might give the young people competencies and skills for successful, healthy and happy lives. We aim to create confident, proactive, moral and capable members of society.
This is why we support all the activities connected to their hobbies and future careers. We guid them in gaining invaluable insight into areas such as business opportunities, human rights, ethics, politics etc. We discuss, and try to better understand, many current world and local issues and work towards minimalizing the problems in the area but on a wider scale. We engage in instilling peace. We teach tolerance through understanding of cultures, beliefs and traditions during cultural events.
We promote a healthy lifestyle through cooking classes and with regular outdoor activities. We are trying to extend opportunities for our local youth and children by participating in non-formal education, volunteering and various Erasmus plus youth mobilities. Marzena Stronska is a qualified psychologist. She finished her master’s degree in 2004. While studying she worked as a Civil servant in Poland supporting blood donation and addiction prevention programs for teenagers in the district of Pszczyna. In 2007 she moved to Ireland and started to work as a childcare worker with children aged 4-12. She worked in a multicultural environment giving support to children from different backgrounds and different abilities. She arranged Saturday meetings for children, teenagers and parents, family events, trips etc. She was organizing activities to teach the Polish language and culture to children and teenagers from Polish or Polish-Irish families. The same year she became the director of the Charity: Animal Therapy Ireland provides therapy for children with additional needs, for adults with disabilities and for elderly people in nursing homes through contact with the animals. In 2019 she finished the course "Leadership for Inclusion" FETAC 6. During the COVID 19 period, she started her free online help for parents who struggle with children at home providing some ideas on how to keep kids busy, stimulate their development at home and how to deal with tantrums and meltdowns. She was a leader of the group of teenagers and young adults ages 15-30 for Erasmus youth projects multiple times. She would like to support non formal education activities to provide more learning opportunities for young people from Ireland.
